Since joining ESAAA/CAA in 2018, Ms. Donna Smith has led the agency with vision, determination, and a genuine heart for serving the people of the Eastern Shore. Under her leadership, ESAAA/CAA has experienced tremendous growth and improvements, including the purchase of the Hallwood Head Start building, securing a $1.3 million grant for a new roof and major building renovations, acquiring two new transportation vans, a new food delivery truck, and many other improvements that have strengthened our ability to serve the community.
Ms. Donna’s leadership is rooted in her belief that "We serve those from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to the Maryland state line.”“ For her, every community and every person across the Shore matters.
She also lives and leads by one of her favorite sayings: “Good, better, best, never let it rest, until your good becomes your better, and your better becomes your best.”
We are grateful for Ms. Donna’s continued leadership, dedication, and commitment to making ESAAA/CAA—and the communities we serve—better each day.
